1978年進入演藝圈,參演過多部電視劇集,1980年開始在電影中跑龍套。曾在《太陽帝國》,《午夜狂奔》,《亡命天涯》,《就地正法》等多部大片中出演配角,在《驚世狂花》與《駭客任務》中的反派形象,亦令人印象深刻。也曾獨立擔任過制片和編導。2000年在影片《記憶碎片》中擔當重要角色。
